India Advised Against Boycotting Asia Cup Cricket Match with Pakistan by Government Sources

Government sources have advised India not to boycott the upcoming Asia Cup cricket match against Pakistan, stating that it would essentially hand them a victory without a fight. The match is scheduled for September 14 and is not a bilateral series, so India's refusal to play would only benefit Pakistan. The decision to proceed with the match was confirmed after the Asian Cricket Council meeting, with both teams set to face off in the league stage at Dubai International Stadium.

India Advised Against Boycotting Asia Cup Cricket Match with Pakistan by Government Sources

Government sources stated that boycotting the Asia Cup cricket match against Pakistan would be like giving them a walkover, as it is not a bilateral series. They emphasized that India should play and defeat Pakistan in such multilateral tournaments to avoid benefiting them.

The clash between India and Pakistan is scheduled for September 14 at the Dubai International Stadium, following the decision made during the Asian Cricket Council meeting. Both teams are in Group A with hosts UAE and Oman.

The BCCI confirmed that the match cannot be withdrawn at this stage, as it was agreed upon during the ACC meeting. Despite uncertainties, the match will proceed as planned.
