2025 Aga Khan Music Awards Master Jury Announced

The Master Jury for the 2025 Aga Khan Music Awards has been announced. The awards will be held from 20 to 23 November 2025 in London, in partnership with the EFG London Jazz Festival.

The Awards celebrate musical creativity, tradition, and innovation in cultures influenced by Islam worldwide. They aim to recognize exceptional talent in various musical activities to help preserve and revitalize Muslim musical heritage.

The Master Jury consists of seven internationally recognized experts in music, including performance, composition, festival direction, scholarship, and education. Winners of the 2025 awards will share a prize fund of $500,000 and receive professional development opportunities.

Members of the 2025 Master Jury include Divya Bhatia, Sasan Fatemi, David Harrington, Zeyba Rahman, Oumou Sangaré, Jordi Savall, and Ghada Shbeir.

The Aga Khan Music Awards were established in 2018 to honor outstanding achievements in musical cultures influenced by Islam. The Awards are governed by an Advisory Council co-chaired by His Highness Prince Rahim Aga Khan V and Prince Amyn Aga Khan.
