Special Awards for Climate Change Heroes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
A special edition of the Pride of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Awards has been announced to honor individuals and organizations making a difference in combating climate change. The awards will recognize leaders in environmental activism, sustainable agriculture, forest conservation, and youth-led climate initiatives. Nominations are now open for this unique ceremony, aiming to highlight the unsung efforts of climate change makers in the province.

A special edition of the Pride of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Awards has been announced to recognize the province’s impactful climate change makers. The event, organized by Metrix Pakistan in partnership with the Youth Affairs Department, aims to honor individuals and organizations from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who have shown exceptional leadership, resilience, and innovation in addressing climate change.
The awards will be presented during a special session at the upcoming Metrix Pakistan Youth Summit – 7th Edition, set to be held in Haripur this August. Nominations are now open, and interested parties can access the forms on the official portal: www.prideofkp.pk.
Hassan Nisar, the founder of the Pride of KP Awards and CEO of Metrix Pakistan, emphasized the significance of this special edition, stating that it is a tribute to those actively combating the climate crisis. The focus of the awards will include community-based environmental activism, sustainable agriculture, forest conservation, and youth-led climate policy initiatives.
Only five individuals will be chosen for this special recognition, and those interested can reach out to [email protected] for submission details. The awardees will not only be honored but also invited to lead sessions at the summit to inspire others to replicate their efforts.
