Global pop star Ed Sheeran is set to return to Australia and New Zealand in 2026 with a stadium show in Adelaide as part of his upcoming 'Loop Tour'. The tour will feature a mix of his chart-topping hits and new music from his album Play, inspired by Indian, Persian, and Irish folk influences.

Global pop sensation Ed Sheeran is set to return to Australia and New Zealand in 2026 as part of his 'Loop Tour', with a massive stadium show scheduled for Adelaide. The tour, announced by Frontier Touring and MG Live, will feature shows across January, February, and March next year following the release of his upcoming album 'Play' on Friday, 12 September.
Having already sold over 2.5 million tickets in previous visits to the region, Sheeran's new stadium tour promises a dynamic setlist combining his biggest hits with the fresh sound of 'Play'. The album, featuring singles like Azizam, Sapphire, and Old Phone, showcases a vibrant mix of Indian, Persian, and Irish folk influences.
The tour will commence in Auckland and travel through Wellington, Christchurch, Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne before reaching Adelaide on Thursday, 5 March at Adelaide Oval. Fans can expect a blend of loop pedal performances, stadium singalongs, and intimate acoustic moments characteristic of Sheeran's live shows.
Presale access will be available for Telstra Plus members on Friday, 25 July, followed by Frontier Members presale on Monday, 28 July. General public ticket sales will start on Tuesday, 29 July, with strict measures against scalping in place. Sheeran's last major tour was the Mathematics Tour in 2023, where he performed to 200,000 fans over two nights at the MCG.
