The smartphone is out of stock in multiple regions, leading Samsung to increase production at its Noida facility. The Galaxy Z Fold7, part of Samsung’s seventh-generation foldables, along with the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, received a record 210,000 pre-orders within 48 hours of launch in India. Retailers are running out of stock in key cities as customers are impressed with the innovation and premium experience offered by the device.
Priced at ₹1,74,999, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is Samsung’s thinnest and lightest foldable, weighing 215 grams and measuring 8.9 mm folded. It features a 200MP camera, Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with AI processing upgrades, and the new One UI 8 powered by Google’s Gemini Live. The device also offers increased display durability with Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) 50% thicker than before, Corning’s new Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, and a redesigned Armor FlexHinge.
