Ready Steady Cook Host Peter Everett Faces Court for Allegedly Touching Teenage Boy

Peter Everett appeared in court on Saturday, facing charges of sexually touching a teenage boy without consent. The former Ready Steady Cook host was accused of the incident in Toukley, NSW. He spent the night behind bars before pleading 'not guilty' to the charges.

Everett denied the allegations when approached by Channel Nine News. He is expected to return to court in September. In recent years, he faced tough times after being fired from Ready Steady Cook in 2011. He revealed struggles during the Covid-19 pandemic, selling off possessions to survive.

In 2023, Everett criticized Channel 10 producers for not inviting him back for the 2024 reboot. He expressed disappointment over not being approached for the show and was upset to see chef Miguel Maestre hosting instead.
