Arsenal vs Newcastle: Zubimendi makes first start in Southeast Asia
Martin Zubimendi, after playing in the second half against AC Milan, earns his first start for Arsenal in Southeast Asia. Newcastle makes six changes from their previous friendly match against Celtic.

After playing the second-half of the win over AC Milan, Martin Zubimendi makes his first start for Arsenal following his summer transfer. He joins the midfield with Mikel Merino, his ex-Real Sociedad teammate. Myles Lewis-Skelly replaces Oleksandr Zinchenko at left back, and Leandro Trossard comes in for Gabriel Martinelli. Cristhian Mosquera, Gabriel, and Jurrien Timber are not in the matchday squad. Viktor Gyokeres arrived just before kick-off and is not involved but is at the stadium to support his teammates.
