Ruben Amorim Warns Clubs Against Expecting Cheap Deals for Manchester United's Unwanted Players

Ruben Amorim has warned rival clubs that they may be in for a surprise if they believe they can sign Manchester United's unwanted players at a low cost this summer. Amorim has excluded Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Jadon Sancho, and Tyrrell Malacia from the squad at the beginning of pre-season. While Rashford has secured a move to Barcelona, the other four players are still at the club and have been instructed to train at Carrington after being omitted from United's squad for the Premier League Summer Series in the US.

Real Betis is interested in bringing Antony back following his successful loan spell last season. Juventus is eyeing Sancho but needs to offload players first, and Garnacho has attracted interest from multiple clubs. However, no deals are imminent, and potential suitors may wait until the end of the transfer window on 1 September, hoping for a price drop.

Amorim emphasized that the price will not decrease, and if necessary, the players will reintegrate into the team. He stated, \"If they don't meet the club's valuation, they will remain Manchester United players. Some players need to find new opportunities to create space in the team, while others are eager for fresh challenges. We are giving these players time to make decisions.\"

Amorim cautioned that clubs waiting until the last minute may be in for a surprise and expressed readiness to welcome back the players if needed.
