KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur announced an increase in the recruitment quota for children of police martyrs to ASI posts from 5% to 12.5%. 280 martyrs' heirs have already been recruited under the new quota. The Police Force budget for this year has been raised from Rs.124 billion to Rs.158 billion. The salaries of KP Police personnel have been increased to match those in other provinces.

The chief minister emphasized the importance of honoring martyrs, stating that it instills a spirit of sacrifice in the police force. Families of martyrs will receive special receptions at public sector offices. The CM's Secretariat staff will also welcome them.

Resources are being prioritized for the police force, with a focus on addressing deficiencies. Martyrs' heirs will receive free residential plots this fiscal year. The government is committed to protecting the police force and the public.

Modern equipment and arms have been provided to the police. The chief minister stressed the importance of merit-based justice and urged officers to avoid recommendations and focus on fairness. He assured full support for ensuring justice for all.

The traffic police were advised to minimize fines for minor violations on poor workers and provide warnings instead. Maintaining law and order is a top priority for development. The Police Darbar offered prayers for the martyrs' peace.

Upon arrival at Police Lines, the chief minister was welcomed by the IGP and senior police officials. He laid a wreath at the martyrs' memorial and inspected new equipment.
