Ben Healy Keeps Yellow Jersey in Tour de France Stage 11

A stage of only mild scares in the Tour de France finished in Toulouse with Ben Healy safely retaining his leader’s yellow jersey. After Tuesday’s first rest day, the Tour resumed with Stage 11, a dynamic 154km loop around Toulouse in the heart of the Occitanie. The last 50km were a proper rollercoaster, the testing Cote de Pech David coming 8km before the finish, before the downhill run back into Toulouse.

Denmark’s Jonas Abrahamsen of Uno-X Mobility took the stage win just ahead of Mauro Schmid of Team Jayco AlUla. Healy finished the stage 24th, alongside Pogačar and other GC contenders, perfectly safe in yellow for at least another day.

Healy had started Stage 11 with a 29-second lead over Pogačar in the GC. As they all finished in the main group, those gaps remain unchanged for Stage 12. Healy expressed relief at retaining the yellow jersey and his optimism for the upcoming challenging stages.

For Healy and his EF Education–EasyPost team, Stage 11 was about protecting the lead. Healy remains optimistic and determined to fight to hold on to the yellow jersey. The upcoming stages promise more challenges and excitement for the riders.

After his impressive performance, Healy is set to face tougher competition as the Tour progresses. Healy's determination and support from his team indicate a strong fight to maintain the yellow jersey.
