Carlo Biado and young Bernie Regalario will face off in the semifinals of the World Pool Championship in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Biado defeated Jeffrey Ignacio and Ko Ping Chung to reach this stage, aiming for a repeat of his 2017 title win.

Regalario, at 20 years old, secured wins over Patric Gonzales and Francisco Sanchez Ruiz, moving closer to a significant milestone in his pool career. The semifinal match will take place at Jeddah’s Green Halls, with the winner advancing to the final against either Fedor Gorst or Kledio Kaci.

The final, a race-to-15 contest, will follow the semifinals. Biado seeks his third final appearance, having lost in 2018 after winning in 2017. The Filipino pool champions include Efren Reyes, Ronnie Alcano, and Francisco Bustamante.

Both Biado and Regalario are guaranteed $50,000 each, with the champion earning $250,000 and the runner-up receiving $100,000.
