Six dead in Muzaffargarh bus-trailer collision

A passenger bus traveling from Ali Pur to Lahore met with an accident near Langar Sarai area. At least six people, including women and children, were killed, and 18 others were injured in a collision between the bus and a trailer. The ill-fated bus was heading to Lahore when the tragic accident occurred. Rescue officials reached the site promptly and transferred the injured and deceased to a nearby hospital. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident. Road accidents are common in Pakistan due to factors like driver negligence and road conditions.

Last month, multiple road accidents resulted in casualties in Ghotki, Dera Ismail Khan, Layyah, and Chichawatni. In one incident, a speeding truck overturned on Motorway M-5 near Ghotki, leading to three fatalities and several injuries. In another case, a car veered off the road in DI Khan, causing four deaths and two injuries. Additionally, a bus accident near Nawan Kot claimed two lives and left 26 others injured.
