Classes were suspended in various areas including Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, and Calabarzon. In Metro Manila, suspensions were announced in Muntinlupa City, Valenzuela City, and Pasig City. In Cagayan Valley, classes were suspended in Aparri, Camalaniugan, Gonzaga, and Santo Niño. In Calabarzon, classes were suspended in Cavite.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) warned of heavy rainfall in several areas, with Metro Manila, Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, and Occidental Mindoro expected to receive 50 to 100 millimeters of rainfall. The LPA was also forecasted to bring heavy rainfall in Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Apayao, Kalinga, Abra, and Ilocos Norte.
