West Indies vs Australia 2nd Test: Seales Shines as Australia Struggles on Day 2

Jayden Seales led West Indies as he ripped out the opening batters of Australia's second innings, reducing them to 12-2 and giving West Indies a lead of 45 runs on day two of the second Test. The West Indies' first innings ended at 253, trailing Australia by 33 runs, setting up a challenging half-hour at the end of the day.

Seales bowled Sam Konstas for a duck in the first over and almost dismissed Cameron Green on the next ball. Usman Khawaja fell to Seales for two runs. Nathan Lyon and Green managed to survive until stumps, with Lyon needing on-field treatment after being hit on the arm.

For the West Indies, Brandon King's maiden Test half-century and a valuable contribution from the tailenders helped them close in on Australia's total. King's partnership with Shai Hope flourished briefly before Cummins and Lyon struck, ending their resistance. The Josephs then added crucial runs before the innings concluded at 253.

Despite a strong start by the West Indies, Australia's bowlers took wickets at regular intervals, with Lyon leading the way with three wickets for 75 runs.
