UK police investigate Bob Vylan for controversial remarks at concert

Punk duo Bob Vylan are under investigation by British police for allegedly making controversial statements at a concert before Glastonbury. The duo, Bobby Vylan and Bobbie Vylan, are being looked into by Avon and Somerset Police for leading chants against IDF soldiers during their performance at Worthy Farm. Bobby Vylan, also known as Pascal Robinson-Foster, was seen in a video at Alexandra Palace calling for 'death to every single IDF soldier out there as an agent of terror for Israel.'

The Metropolitan Police confirmed the investigation based on footage from the concert on 28 May 2025. Bob Vylan has faced consequences, including being removed from the Radar festival lineup in Manchester. The duo responded on social media, emphasizing their support for Palestine and expressing resilience.

Following criticism for their livestream, the BBC apologized for broadcasting what they termed as 'antisemitic sentiments.' The Director-General was made aware of the incident and ensured it was not included in further coverage. Bob Vylan faced additional repercussions, such as being banned from the US and removed from an upcoming performance in Germany.

Despite these challenges, Bob Vylan is set to perform at the Boardmasters festival in Newquay, Cornwall, in August.
