Oasis is set to perform at Heaton Park this weekend, marking their return to Manchester after 16 years. The venue will have bars and food stalls. Organizers recommend arriving early due to expected big crowds.

Oasis will play two shows at Heaton Park this weekend as they bring the world tour back home. The venue will include a number of bars and food stalls. The countdown is now on as Oasis prepare to take to the stage at Heaton Park this weekend as they play back-to-back homecoming shows at the venue. It marks their first time back on stage in Manchester in 16 years.
Following off the back of two successful first shows in Cardiff last weekend, Liam and Noel Gallagher are preparing for the first shows of their Manchester residency as they bring Oasis Live '25 back home. The brothers announced the tour last August, sending fans in a frenzy to secure tickets to the 19 UK and Ireland shows announced.
They'll play two shows this weekend, on Friday, July 4 and Saturday, July 5, plus three shows next week - Wednesday, 16 July, Saturday, 19 July and Sunday, 20 July. As well as Cardiff and Manchester, the band will play several dates in London, Edinburgh and Dublin before heading overseas for a series of international dates in North and South America, Asia and Australia.
Ahead of the much-anticipated Oasis hometown shows at Heaton Park this weekend, the event organisers have issued a number of updates for ticket holders attending the first two events. For fans attending on Friday and Saturday night, there's a warning in place for very hot weather, with the Met Office predicting highs of 30C and 31C respectively.
Due to the increased temperatures, fans are being urged to stay hydrated, and are being allowed to bring in a sealed bottle of water up to 500ml. This must be collapsible plastic, and solid plastic, metal containers will not be permitted on the grounds of safety, while bottles with broken seals will be emptied. People can also refill their water for free on site at one of the many points, and those attending are permitted to bring a small bottle 200ml or under of sun cream.
And while the advice is to keep hydrated in the very hot weather, organisers have also given a glimpse at some of the bar prices. It has now been confirmed that a pint of lager and cider will be priced at £6.50 for those attending the Oasis Heaton Park shows. This is a marked difference from the Cardiff shows, where a pint of beer was priced at £8.20 and a half £4.10. Other drink prices for Heaton Park will be confirmed on Friday.
Gate and set times have now also been provided by organisers. Gates will open at 3pm for Heaton Park, while support acts Cast and Richard Ashcroft will come on at 6pm and 7pm respectively. Oasis are due on stage at 8:15pm and curfew for the venue is 10:30pm. Big crowds are expected and those travelling to the shows are being urged to allow plenty of time to get there and to arrive early.
Shuttle Buses from Lever Street in the Northern Quarter go direct to Heaton Park but are nearly sold out on the Bee Network app. Buses to the venue start from 1:30pm and no online purchases will be available on show days. Trams, meanwhile, will run every six minutes from Manchester Victoria to Heaton Park on the Bury Line. They will also run from Exchange Square and other city centre locations.
