Macca is back. Sir Paul McCartney has announced a headlining tour across North America, starting in late September. The tour extends the Got Back Tour from 2022, visiting cities like Atlanta, Montreal, Chicago, Buffalo, Las Vegas, Denver, and Nashville. McCartney will also perform in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and the Greater Palm Springs area for the first time. Check out the complete list of tour dates below.
This marks McCartney's first tour in several years, although he recently played three impromptu concerts at Bowery Ballroom in New York in February. These shows were a warm-up for his performance on SNL50: The Anniversary Special, where he played songs from the Beatles' Abbey Road album.
Earlier this year, McCartney announced a new book titled 'Wings: The Story of a Band on the Run,' a 528-page book detailing the journey of his 1970s band Wings after the Beatles disbanded. The book, written by McCartney with an introduction by Ted Widmer, is set to release on November 4. Additionally, Wings released a 50th-anniversary edition of 'Band on the Run' and the live studio album 'One Hand Clapping' in 2024.
