Navotas LGU Issues Flood and Traffic Advisories Due to High Tide
The Navotas local government unit (LGU) warned residents of flooded areas caused by a collapsed river wall during high tide. Specific areas affected include M. Naval Street in front of Navotas City Hospital. The LGU also provided updates on pumping stations and ongoing repairs at the Tangos-Tanza navigational gate.

The Navotas local government unit (LGU) warned residents about flooding in several areas due to a collapsed river wall caused by high tide. As of 12 p.m., the following areas were flooded:
DISTRICT I
SIPAC ALMACEN
- M. Naval going to P. Gabriel: 4-5 Inches
- M. Naval in front of City Hall: 4-5 Inches
DISTRICT II
SAN JOSE
- M. Naval in front of Navotas City Hospital: 5-7 Inches
- M. Naval cor. E. Tuazon: 5-7 Inches
TANZA 1
- Everlasting St.: 2-3 Inches
- Capt. Cruz: 1-4 Inches
- E. Rodriguez: 1-3 Inches
- Doña Aurora: 2-4 Inches
The Navotas LGU mentioned that its Bombastik Pumping Stations are operational. The repair of the Tangos-Tanza navigational gate is ongoing.
Another social media post by the Navotas LGU stated that M. Naval Street in front of the Navotas City Hospital is not accessible to small vehicles due to flooding. Motorcycles and electric bikes can use A. Santiago Street for passage, with temporary counterflowing allowed. Heavy traffic is anticipated on Gov. Pascual Street due to increased vehicle flow.
According to a Super Radyo dzBB report, a house suffered severe damage and five others were affected when a three-meter wall in Barangay San Jose collapsed from the high tide waters. The LGU mentioned that the waters breached the sandbag wall.
