GCash and SendWave Partner to Enhance Overseas Remittances

GCash has expanded its partnership with SendWave to provide overseas Filipinos with a faster, more secure, and accessible remittance solution. The collaboration, which started in 2025, offers new cash-in features and extended services to more countries, aiming to improve financial accessibility for Filipinos globally.

As an official GCash partner, SendWave now enables Filipinos abroad to remit directly to Philippine mobile numbers (+63), ensuring instant financial support for their families. Overseas Filipinos can cash in to their GCash Overseas accounts using their U.S., UK, or Canadian mobile numbers through SendWave, making digital finance more accessible internationally.

SendWave has a strong presence in key remittance corridors such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Spain, and Germany. In the Philippines, GCash users can access funds through 339,000 cash-in and cash-out outlets nationwide. The GCash app also offers users a savings account, investment options, and financial management tools.
