Israel's state prosecution has indicted Dennis Lyakhov, 30, from Rishon Letzion, for national security offenses. The charges include contact with a foreign agent and providing information to an enemy state. The prosecution has requested an extension of the defendant's detention until legal proceedings are completed.

According to the indictment, Lyakhov was in contact with an Iranian agent who instructed him to carry out tasks in exchange for payment. The tasks included filming a street and residential buildings in Petah Tikva and inquiring about vehicle prices at a car dealership in Netanya. The defendant shared the footage and his location with the agent via Telegram.

Despite receiving payment from the agent, Lyakhov did not complete all the tasks. Some actions were carried out in Israel, while others were done while he was living in Latvia.
