Toronto Blue Jays Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Alejandro Kirk participated in the Major League Baseball All-Star Game at Truist Park in Atlanta. The National League defeated the American League 4-3 in the first-ever home run swing-off, with MVP Kyle Schwarber hitting three home runs for the NL.

Guerrero Jr. went 1-for-2 at the plate, striking out against Clayton Kershaw and hitting a single off David Peterson. Kirk replaced Cal Raleigh and contributed with a single and a run scored. The Blue Jays take a 55-41 record into the post-break schedule, leading the AL East.
