Introducing the Zenith Chronomaster Original with Blue Dial

The year 1969 was a milestone in watchmaking with the launch of the first automatic chronograph movement by Zenith. The El Primero calibre was the first of its kind, powering iconic models like the A386. In 2021, Zenith introduced the Chronomaster Original, a modern tribute to the A386. With vintage design elements and the latest El Primero movement, the watch features a 38mm case and tricolour sub-dials. The new blue dial version adds a fresh twist to the collection.

Earlier this year, Zenith unveiled a series of blue ceramic chronographs to celebrate its 160th anniversary. The Chronomaster Original now joins this lineup with a striking blue dial that complements the tricolour counters. The watch boasts vintage-inspired details, a high-frequency El Primero 3600 movement, and precision timing capabilities.

The stainless steel case, reminiscent of the original A386, houses the El Primero 3600 movement with enhanced power reserve and accuracy. The watch features a thin bezel, domed sapphire crystal, and a mix of brushed and polished surfaces. The caseback reveals the intricate details of the movement, including the column wheel and openworked rotor.
