Born Terry Bollea, Hogan began his wrestling career in the mid-1970s. He gained immense popularity in 1984 after winning the heavyweight championship of the World Wrestling Federation by defeating the Iron Sheik.

According to the police, Hogan was attended to for cardiac arrest in Clearwater, Florida, before being pronounced deceased at the hospital.

Linda Bose, identified as Hogan's manager, expressed deep sorrow at his passing, describing him as a great human being and friend.

Hogan's persona, known as 'Hulkamania,' became a cultural phenomenon in the mid-1980s, propelling professional wrestling into the mainstream. He was recognized for his patriotic character, distinctive appearance, and memorable matches.

Aside from his wrestling career, Hogan ventured into acting, appearing in films and reality TV shows. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005 by Sylvester Stallone.
