Fourth Person Dies After Fermanagh Shooting

A fourth person, Ian Rutledge, 43, has died in hospital following a shooting in Maguiresbridge, Co Fermanagh last week. The incident occurred at a house on Drummeer Road last Wednesday morning, leading to a murder investigation. Police responded to a 999 call from inside the house, dispatching officers from Enniskillen station. Upon arrival, they found four people with gunshot wounds. Two victims, Vanessa Whyte and her children Sara and James, were pronounced dead at the scene. Another child later died in the hospital. Vanessa Whyte, 45, originally from Barefield, Co Clare, along with her children, James Rutledge (14) and Sara Rutledge (13), were identified as the deceased. Mr. Rutledge, previously in serious condition, passed away in the hospital. The PSNI has urged anyone with information to come forward. A vigil was held at Maguiresbridge Primary School in memory of the victims, where the community expressed sorrow and offered prayers for the affected families and emergency responders.
