Union home minister Amit Shah disclosed in the Lok Sabha that three terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack were neutralized in a joint Operation Mahadev. Shah presented evidence that the terrorists came from Pakistan, including Pakistani voter IDs and chocolates made in Pakistan.

Union home minister Amit Shah revealed in the Lok Sabha that the three terrorists involved in the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack were killed in a joint operation by security forces. The operation, named Mahadev, was conducted by the Indian Army, CRPF, and J&K Police. The terrorists were identified as Suleman alias Faizal, Afghan, and Jibran, all of whom were A-category terrorists affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba. Shah emphasized that the terrorists responsible for the attack were eliminated to prevent their escape from the country. He also presented evidence indicating that the terrorists came from Pakistan, including Pakistani voter IDs and chocolates made in Pakistan.
During the investigation, over 1,000 individuals were questioned, leading to the identification of Bashir and Parvez as those who harbored the terrorists. Shah mentioned that those who supplied food to the terrorists had been detained earlier. Forensic evidence and ballistics tests confirmed the identity of the terrorists. The rifles seized from the terrorists matched the FSL reports, conclusively linking them to the Pahalgam terror attack.
