DOH Offers Free HIV Testing and Services at Pride Run Event

The Department of Health (DOH) provided free HIV services, including testing and consultation, during its 'Love Loud Love Safe: Pride Run 2025' event at SM Mall of Asia in Pasay. Services offered included free HIV testing, consultation, condoms, lubricants, PrEP, HIV self-testing kits, and health education about HIV/AIDS and U=U. Recently, the DOH called for declaring HIV a national public health emergency to address a 500% surge in new cases in the Philippines. From January to March this year, 5,101 new cases of people living with HIV were recorded.
