The Bicol Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council has placed its Emergency Operations Center under blue alert status in preparation for the potential effects of tropical depression 'Crising.' Response agencies and local DRRM councils are closely monitoring the weather disturbance and have activated their emergency operations centers 24/7. Response teams are on standby for deployment, and coordination with the Philippine Coast Guard is in place to issue a 'no sailing policy' for the fishing sector when necessary.

In Cagayan Valley, the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council is also on blue alert. Authorities warn that flooding and landslides may affect up to 442 barangays in Cagayan province. Residents, especially those in low-lying areas, are advised to be prepared for the impact of Crising. The tropical cyclone is expected to bring heavy rains and strong winds to Cagayan from Friday to Saturday.

Residents of Sorsogon province are advised to monitor Crising closely for potential flooding, landslides, and other hazards. The province is expected to receive 50 to 100 millimeters of rainfall until Friday. Additionally, the southwest monsoon will bring strong gusts to the Bicol region on Thursday and Friday. Local disaster risk reduction and management offices are urged to monitor high-risk areas, review contingency plans, and disseminate information to the public.
