In a show of unity, Pampanga 2nd district Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo attended a gathering of pro-administration lawmakers three weeks before President Marcos' upcoming State of the Nation Address (SONA).

The meeting, led by Leyte 1st district Rep. Martin Romualdez, focused on rallying support for the President's legislative agenda for the 20th Congress, to be outlined in the SONA on July 28.

Arroyo, a former president, continues to wield influence in the House and has been supportive of Romualdez and the Marcos administration.

Romualdez, a key ally of President Marcos, presented the initial 20 House bills for the 20th Congress, aimed at addressing various national needs from food security to healthcare and job creation.

He stressed the importance of consulting with lawmakers to ensure that national development efforts reach all regions and communities.
