An entertaining and dramatic State of Origin series comes to a head when Laurie Daley’s New South Wales Blues host Billy Slater’s Queensland Maroons in the 2025 series decider on Wednesday night.
The heavily-favoured Blues will look to seal back-to-back series victories at Sydney’s Accor Stadium after winning this year’s opener at Suncorp Stadium but falling short of a miracle comeback in game two in Perth.

Daley, chasing a second series victory as coach, expects the Blues will be 1-17 barring any late mishaps, with injured duo Brian To’o and Payne Haas declared fit having been under serious injury clouds.
Slater, meanwhile, said captain Cameron Munster will arrive in camp on Tuesday and will also play after the sudden passing of his father Steven Munster earlier this week aged 58.
