Telugu actor Kota Srinivasa Rao passes away: Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan pay respects at funeral

Veteran Telugu actor and former MLA Kota Srinivasa Rao passed away at the age of 83 in Hyderabad. The funeral took place at his residence, where prominent figures from the Telugu film industry, such as Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Prakash Raj, Venkatesh Daggubati, and Rana Daggubati, paid their respects.

Chiranjeevi paid his respects by laying a wreath of red roses on Rao's remains and bowing before the actor's portrait. Family members of the actor were present, receiving condolences from colleagues and friends. Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan also attended the event.

Veteran actor Brahmanandam expressed deep sorrow during a press conference, praising Kota Srinivasa Rao's illustrious career spanning nearly five decades. Known for his versatility, Rao's ability to portray various characters endeared him to audiences.

Kota Srinivasa Rao's film journey began in 1978 with 'Pranam Khareedu'. He appeared in over 750 films in languages like Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam, leaving a lasting impact on the industry.

The Tollywood industry, including celebrities like Jr NTR, Naga Chaitanya, Samantha, Mahesh Babu, and others, mourned his loss and paid tribute to his talent and dedication. His legacy will continue to inspire future generations of actors and filmmakers.
