Man jailed for biting off colleague's ear in drunken fight
A 21-year-old man in Singapore was sentenced to six months in jail for biting off his colleague's ear during a drunken argument. The incident occurred at Kallang Dormitory after the man returned from drinking beer and accused his colleague of spying on him. The victim suffered permanent disfiguration as a result of the attack.

A 21-year-old man, Senthilkumar Vishnusakthi, bit off his colleague's ear after a heated argument at Kallang Dormitory. He was sentenced to six months' jail for causing grievous hurt to 31-year-old Nesamani Hariharn. The incident occurred on Feb 15 when Senthilkumar, who had been drinking, accused the victim of spying on him and reporting his poor work performance. An argument ensued, leading to a physical altercation where Senthilkumar bit off the victim's left earlobe. The victim suffered injuries including torn skin below his eye and a fractured thumb. Senthilkumar, who pleaded guilty, was said to be voluntarily intoxicated at the time. His lawyer mentioned that he was grieving over his late father and regretted his actions. The judge considered the injury serious and backdated the jail term to February.
