Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 live images reveal new blue color and slimmer design

Late last month, leaked renders gave us a glimpse of the upcoming Samsung foldables, showcasing a deep blue color that appears to be the highlight this year. Recently, live images of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 have surfaced online, confirming the presence of the same striking blue shade. Shared by tipster @Jukanlosreve and reported by Android Headlines, these images provide a real-life look at the device, revealing some notable details.

The blue variant, likely named Blue Shadow, retains its elegance and sophistication in the live photos, reminiscent of the blue hue used in Samsung's Galaxy S24 series in 2024. The leaked images also indicate a slimmer and sleeker design for the Galaxy Fold 7 compared to its predecessor, with reports suggesting a thickness of 3.9mm to 4.5mm when unfolded, making it Samsung's thinnest foldable yet.

The rear camera setup, featuring three vertically stacked cameras on an island at the top-left corner, is another highlight from the leaked photos. While the layout is similar to the Fold 6, the absence of an under-display camera suggests a return to hole-punch selfie cameras for improved image quality.

Reports hint at a lighter weight of around 215 grams for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, making it lighter than its predecessor and even the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The device is expected to sport a 6.5-inch cover screen, an 8.2-inch inner display, and be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

The primary rear camera is rumored to be a 200-megapixel sensor, possibly similar to the Galaxy S25 Ultra, while the other two cameras may be carried over from the Fold 6. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is anticipated to debut alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7 at Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event, rumored to be held on July 9 in New York, with potential announcements regarding the Galaxy Watch 8 series and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE.
