FiiO Launches New SP5 Active Speakers for Home Studios

FiiO has launched new desktop speakers, the SP5s, which are perfect for home studios. These speakers come with independent amplification and deliver 120W per speaker. They will be available for purchase starting August 2025 at a price of $749 / £709.

The SP5 active speakers are designed not only for audiophiles but also for music makers and audio professionals. They offer features that regular home speakers do not have.

The key feature of these high-spec bookshelf or desktop speakers is the three-band EQ shelf switches located on the back. These switches allow you to adjust certain frequencies to ensure accurate sound reproduction, especially in environments where speakers are placed near reflective surfaces.

The SP5 speakers offer aux, RCA, XLR, and USB-C inputs for both analog and digital sources. Each speaker has its own 120W power supply for consistent power delivery and reduced interference. The speakers also feature a four-channel amp, a Rohacell woofer for tight bass, and a cavity-enhanced tweeter for smooth highs.

In addition to the EQ adjustments, the speakers come with a companion app for further tuning. They also support Bluetooth with LDAC and aptX Adaptive for streaming music.

The FiiO SP5 speakers will be released in August 2025 with a price tag of $749 / £709.
