The Punjab Police arrested Musa Maneka, son of former first lady Bushra Bibi, for allegedly shooting his domestic servant at his Pakpattan home. The incident led to an FIR being filed under Section 324 (attempted murder) of the Pakistan Penal Code.
The complainant, the servant's father, reported that the shooting occurred when the son placed bedsheets outside a bedroom, which angered Maneka. In response, Maneka shot the son in the leg with a pistol. The injured servant was taken to the hospital by Rescue 1122.
District Police Officer Javed Iqbal Chaddar stated that the police responded promptly, arrested Maneka, and recovered the weapon. He emphasized that the law applies to everyone and vowed that the suspect would face consequences.
Notably, this is not the first time Maneka has faced legal issues. He, along with his father and brother, was indicted in corruption cases in 2023, and he also faced charges of possessing liquor in 2022.
