Mass Shooting at Philadelphia Bar Injures 11 People on Fourth of July

At least 11 people have been injured following a mass shooting in Philadelphia. Gun shots were heard around 4am Saturday at 7 Elements bar on 11th Street and Washington Avenue after Fourth of July celebrations turned violent. The Philadelphia Police Department found three victims with gunshot wounds at the scene and later discovered that eight others had taken themselves to a local hospital. Four women and seven men were injured, with at least two in critical condition, including a security guard shot in the face and a woman shot in the back. Bullet casings were found on the upper floor and staircase of the bar. The motive is unknown, and no arrests have been made. The bar was closed when police arrived, and identities of the victims have not been released.

Saturday's shooting was the largest in Philadelphia since a Memorial Day incident where two people were killed and nine were injured in Fairmont Park. Eleven people, including teenagers, were struck by gunfire during the Memorial Day shooting. Police believe multiple guns were used in that incident.
