According to ATP's official website, Sinner defeated Martinez, who was struggling with a shoulder issue, with scores of 6-1, 6-3, 6-1.

Sinner has equaled the Open Era record for the fewest games dropped heading into the fourth round of Wimbledon, previously held by Jan Kodes, having lost only 17 games in the tournament so far. He has not dropped a serve this week, winning all 37 service games and saving all eight break points.

During the match, Sinner took a commanding lead of 5-0 in the first set as Martinez received medical attention for his shoulder, affecting his performance. Sinner expressed his satisfaction with his performance and acknowledged Martinez's effort despite the challenge he faced.

By advancing to the fourth round for the 17th time in a Grand Slam, Sinner surpassed Nicola Pietrangeli's record of 16 among Italian players. This marks his fourth consecutive appearance in the final 16 at Wimbledon.

With this win, Sinner extended his Head-to-Head record against Martinez to 2-0 and is now set to face Grigor Dimitrov in the next match. Dimitrov previously defeated Sinner 6-3, 6-4, 7-6(0). Sinner, a 23-year-old Italian player, aims for his fourth Grand Slam title and his first Wimbledon victory, with a semifinal appearance in 2023 being his best result, where he lost to Novak Djokovic.
