Wallabies coach Joe Schmidt has named his side to face Fiji in Newcastle on Sunday, recalling David Porecki after almost 650 days out of the Test arena. Porecki starts at hooker, his first time in the gold jersey since the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
James Slipper and Allan Alaalatoa form the experienced prop duo, with Angus Bell on the bench. Nick Frost and Jeremy Williams are in the second-row, while Langi Gleeson joins the back-row. Skipper Harry Wilson remains at number eight alongside Fraser McReight.
Tate McDermott and Noah Lolesio start in the halves, with Nic White and Ben Donaldson as replacements. Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii gets his first Wallabies start at outside centre, partnering with Len Ikitau. Harry Potter will also play his first Test in Australia, with Max Jorgensen and Tom Wright completing the starting side.
ACT Brumbies duo Billy Pollard and Tom Hooper are among the forwards replacements, and Carlo Tizzano is also included. The Wallabies will wear their First Nations jersey in the match, marking the start of NAIDOC week.
