FIVB President Confident in Philippines' Hosting of Men's World Championship

FIVB president Fabio Azevedo expressed his confidence that the Philippines will successfully host the FIVB Men's World Championship. Azevedo recently visited the country to inspect the preparations by the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) for the event scheduled from September 12 to 28.

During a press conference, Azevedo stated, \"We have no doubt that the world championships here will be a remarkable success.\" He highlighted the Philippines' experience in hosting previous volleyball events like the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) as a testament to their capabilities.

Azevedo also praised the country's readiness in terms of logistics, infrastructure, and accommodations for the upcoming championship. He expressed confidence in the PNVF's ability to deliver a successful event, emphasizing that the Philippines will be at the forefront of the volleyball world in 72 days.

The Men's World Championship will feature 32 teams and will take place at two venues: the Smart Araneta Coliseum and the Mall of Asia Arena.
