Pakistan Navy and Agencies Seize Narcotics Worth Over Rs1 Billion in Arabian Sea Operation

In a joint operation, the Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Maritime Security Agency, Joint Maritime Information Coordination Centre, and Narcotics Control Wing of the Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department (Sindh) conducted a successful operation in the Arabian Sea.

The operation involved surveillance missions and patrols, resulting in the interception of a stateless vessel with over 500 kilograms of narcotics like hashish and methamphetamine.

Additionally, a separate operation led to the confiscation of illicit liquor hidden on another vessel, intended for illegal circulation.

Authorities estimate the seized drugs and liquor to be worth over Rs1 billion. The recovered items have been handed over for legal proceedings.

These operations highlight the cooperation between Pakistan's maritime and law enforcement agencies in combating illicit trade and ensuring regional stability.
