A 24-year-old Indian woman named Simran has gone missing in the United States shortly after arriving for an arranged marriage. She landed in the US on June 20, but authorities suspect she may not have intended to go through with the marriage and used the opportunity to travel to the US. Surveillance footage shows her waiting alone and looking at her phone, appearing calm. She was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a white T-shirt, black flip flops, and small diamond-studded earrings. Simran is about 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs around 150 pounds, and has a small scar on her forehead. She has no known relatives in the US, does not speak English, and uses a phone that only works with Wi-Fi. Efforts to reach her family in India have been unsuccessful. Anyone with information should contact Lindenwold Police Detective Joe Tomasetti.
