In Karachi, the main procession started from Nishtar Park and moved through designated routes under police presence. Cellular services were suspended and roads blocked to manage traffic. Pillion riding was banned in major cities. MA Jinnah Road was closed and markets sealed as the procession passed through. Around 49,600 police personnel are on duty in major cities.
