Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 Launching Today: How to Watch Livestream

Samsung is gearing up to launch its next-generation foldable smartphones at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event in New York, US. The event will showcase the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and the Galaxy Watch 8 series. The company is expected to introduce three foldable smartphones this year, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. The FE model is rumored to have an ultra-thin design.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is anticipated to be thinner than its predecessors, with a 6.5-inch outer display and an 8-inch inner display. It is expected to weigh 216 grams and feature a 4,400mAh battery, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. The main camera may have a 200MP sensor, and color choices could include blue, black, and silver.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is also set to undergo changes, with a larger 4.1-inch cover screen and a 4,300mAh battery. It may sport a 50MP main camera and similar storage options and colors as the Fold 7. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is rumored to offer 128GB and 256GB storage options, a 4,000mAh battery, and the same screen sizes as the Flip 7, launching in black and white.

Both models are expected to feature a new 3nm Exynos W1000 5-core chipset, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, and run on One UI 8.0 Watch. Health and fitness sensors like Accelerometer, Altimeter, Gyroscope, Light Sensor, and more are also anticipated.

The Galaxy Unpacked event will be live-streamed on Samsung Newsroom India and Samsung India’s YouTube channel on July 9 at 07:30 PM IST.
