Pangasinan Governor Prioritizes Health, Education, Tourism, and Agriculture

Reelected Governor Ramon Guico III has reaffirmed his commitment to focus on health, education, agriculture, tourism infrastructure, and community outreach in his second term as the chief executive of Pangasinan province.

During his inaugural ceremony, Guico highlighted the importance of long-term projects initiated during his first term, such as the Pangasinan Link Expressway, Guiconsulta program, Pangasinan Polytechnic College, Capitol Complex Development Project, and hospital upgrades.

Healthcare remains a top priority for Guico, with a focus on strengthening healthcare services through initiatives like the Guiconsulta program and PhilHealth's Konsulta program.

The provincial government aims to enroll at least 2 million Pangasinenses in the Konsulta program, providing free medical services to PhilHealth members.

Plans for expanding healthcare facilities, building new hospitals, and establishing specialized medical centers were also announced by Guico.

In education, the expansion of PPC campuses and the future establishment of a School of Medicine and Health Sciences were revealed.

Tourism projects include the redevelopment of the Capitol Complex and key developments like the Pangasinan Government Center and flood mitigation projects.

The provincial government has launched a community outreach program to provide medical and dental services, free laboratory tests, health packs, and meals to Pangasinenses.

In agriculture, efforts are being made to assist farmers through the corporate farming program despite challenges in the buying price of palay.

Guico urged Pangasinenses to support government projects and programs while expressing gratitude to his supporters in the last elections.
