The unique story of Miffy and De Rijke & Co began in 2022 when Laurens de Rijke, a Dutch watchmaker, introduced the Miffy Moonphase. The watch featured a design combining De Rijke's Amalfi Series with the beloved Dutch cartoon bunny Miffy on a crescent moon. After several limited editions, the final edition is a sleek white ceramic version.
The De Rijke & Co Miffy Moonphase 'Final Edition' was developed with a focus on the Miffy color palette, using white ceramic for the case. The modular construction includes a ceramic outer 'lugcase' and inner case with a signature rotating mechanism redesigned for improved performance.
The 38mm case has been slightly increased to 11.3mm, featuring a rotating inner case that can be set to any position. The dial is matte white with black markers and hands filled with Super-LumiNova in Dick Bruna colors. The moonphase disc displays Miffy on a crescent moon with stars.
Powering the watch is a modified Sellita SW288-1 automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve. Limited to 100 pieces, the watch comes with a white FKM rubber strap and a red elastic 'Paratrooper' strap, priced at EUR 3,950 excl. VAT.
