Indian Air Force Jaguar Trainer Aircraft Crash: Eyewitness Recalls Pilot's Efforts to Avoid Civilian Casualties
An eyewitness in Rajasthan's Churu district recounted how the pilot of the crashed Jaguar Trainer aircraft made every effort to prevent harm to the village. The incident resulted in the tragic death of two pilots. The Indian Air Force has initiated a court of inquiry to determine the cause of the accident.

A man who witnessed the crash of the Indian Air Force’s Jaguar Trainer aircraft in Rajasthan’s Churu on Wednesday recalled that the pilot tried to prevent civilian casualties. The eyewitness mentioned finding an IAF diary at the crash site, which was handed over to the local station house officer (SHO).
According to the witness, Rajdeep, he saw a sudden plume of smoke while sitting in his field. Parts of the pilot's body were found scattered, and one IAF diary was also discovered and given to the SHO. The witness stated, 'Pilot tried his best to protect the village, I can say it for sure (avoid a crash there),' as reported by ANI.
A twin-seater trainer version of the Jaguar fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed near the Churu district of Rajasthan, resulting in the death of two pilots onboard.
The Indian Air Force confirmed the casualties in the accident and stated that no damage was caused to any civil property. A court of inquiry has been initiated to determine the cause of the accident.
In a statement, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the two Air Warriors in the accident. He mentioned that their service to the nation will always be remembered.
The aircraft had taken off from Suratgarh air base with two pilots onboard.
