Father, 42, Diagnosed with Terminal Brain Cancer After Mistaking Symptoms for Stress

A father from Waddesdon, Buckinghamshire, was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour shortly after his son's first birthday. Elliot Godfrey started experiencing migraines in March, which he initially attributed to stress from being a new dad. Concerned friends urged him to seek medical help, leading to a diagnosis of high-grade glioblastoma in April.

Mr. Godfrey, a former professional golfer, underwent surgery to remove most of the tumour and is now undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy. He has launched a GoFundMe page to raise funds for experimental treatments in Germany, aiming to improve his chances of long-term survival.

Glioblastoma is one of the deadliest types of brain tumours, with a low survival rate. Mr. Godfrey remains positive and determined to fight the disease with a healthy lifestyle and experimental treatments.
