Erin McLaughlin joins Ireland squad for second USA match

Erin McLaughlin has been added to the Republic of Ireland squad for the upcoming second friendly against the USA. The team suffered a 4-0 defeat in the first match against the world's top-ranked team in Denver, Colorado. Denise O'Sullivan and Megan Campbell were sidelined due to injuries, with their availability for the next game uncertain. Manager Carla Ward mentioned that they might not be able to play in the upcoming match in Cincinatti, Ohio. Several other players, including captain Katie McCabe, did not participate in the trip. Donegal native McLaughlin, who has three senior caps, will provide cover in midfield and attack. Dee Bradley, a defender from Philadelphia, will also join the squad for training in Ohio.
