Keith Andrews appointed as Brentford manager
Keith Andrews, former Bees' set-piece coach, has been chosen to succeed Thomas Frank as the new manager of Brentford. The 44-year-old Irishman, with experience as a player and coach, expressed feeling 'honoured' and 'humbled' by the appointment.

The west London club confirmed Keith Andrews as the successor to Thomas Frank, who moved to Tottenham. Andrews, previously the Bees' set-piece coach, has now been promoted to the top coaching position. The 44-year-old Irishman started his professional playing career at Wolves and also played over 70 matches at both MK Dons and Blackburn. He earned 35 caps for the Republic of Ireland and played in Euro 2012. In coaching, he served as an assistant at MK Dons and within the Republic's setup. Andrews had been at Sheffield United before joining Brentford last summer.
Andrews expressed feeling 'humbled' and 'honored' by the appointment, appreciating the support from the owner, board, and staff. He sees great potential in the club, players, and staff. Brentford's director of football, Phil Giles, described Andrews as a good fit for the job, highlighting his positive relationships, openness, and coaching abilities. Giles emphasized Andrews' clear ideas for team improvement and evolution while building on the existing foundation laid by Thomas Frank.
