The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over Visayas, Mindanao, and the western sections of Central and Southern Luzon on Friday, according to PAGASA.
Metro Manila, Visayas, MIMAROPA, Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Cavite, and Batangas will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon, leading to possible flash floods or landslides from moderate to heavy rains.
Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon, with a risk of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The rest of Luzon will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms, also posing a risk of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for Northern Luzon, Central Luzon, and the western section of Southern Luzon is light to moderate, moving in the southwest to southeast direction, with slight to moderate coastal waters. The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed, moving in the southwest to west direction, with slight to moderate coastal waters.
