Oppo Reno 14 Series Launching on July 3: Key Features and Camera Specs Unveiled

Oppo is preparing to launch the basic and Pro versions of its new mid-range Reno 14 series in India on July 3. The launch event will be live-streamed on Oppo's social media platforms at 12 PM IST.

Camera and Performance Details

Both models are expected to feature Samsung's 50MP camera sensors. The Reno 14 Pro will come with a powerful 6200mAh battery supporting 50W wireless and 80W wired fast charging. It will sport four cameras including a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP OV50E sensor with OIS.

The basic Reno 14 will also have a 6200mAh battery and will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset. Its triple camera setup will consist of a 50MP Sony IMX883 sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto sensor. Both models will feature a 5MP front camera with autofocus.

AI Qualities

The Reno 14 series will include AI-powered features such as Voice Enhancer, AI Editor 2.0, AI Recompose, AI Perfect Shot, AI Style Transfer, and AI Live Photo 2.0 to enhance photography and user experience.

Competition and Pricing

The Indian models are expected to be priced similarly to their Chinese counterparts, although Oppo has not officially announced the prices. In China, the Reno 14 5G was priced at around ₹33,200 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model, while the standard Reno 14 Pro 5G with 12GB + 256GB storage costs about ₹41,500.

Competing with devices like Xiaomi 14, OnePlus Nord 4, Vivo IQOO Neo 10, and Realme GT 6T in terms of features and pricing, the Reno 14 series presents a strong challenge in the mid-range market.
